Connect your Canyons Canvas account to auto-pull assignments into every tab
Sign in at canyons.instructure.com. Click your profile picture (top-left) → Settings.
Scroll down to Approved Integrations → click + New Access Token. Purpose: Student Hub. Leave expiry blank for no expiration. Click Generate Token.
Copy the long token string — you won't be able to see it again after closing the popup. Paste it into the field above and click Save & Connect.
Your token is stored only in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device. Treat it like a password — anyone with this token can access your Canvas account.
Active courses → list of your classes (used in Grades + Assignments tabs).
Assignments → all open, unlocked, due-in-future or recently-past assignments. Old/locked/past assignments and completed ones are filtered out.
Due dates → flow into the Dashboard, Calendar, and School tabs automatically.
Course grades (current scores) → flow into the Grades panel as a starting point you can override from Skyward.
Most browsers block direct calls to Canvas from a downloaded HTML file due to CORS policy. If sync fails, the most common fix is to use a free CORS proxy or run this file from a local server (instructions appear in the sync log if needed). For testing without Canvas connected, you can use the buttons above to enter assignments manually — all features work either way.
Skyward doesn't offer a public API, so grades are entered manually. Add them in the School tab.
